Registration for language exams opens on 18th April

Dear Students,

Those of you who are planning to pass an exam in a foreign language in the coming exam session need to remember that the registration for language exams is opening 18th April and will latst till 29th May. It is possible to register via the usual token registration.

Things to remember:
· You need to pass an exam in a foreign language (at least B1 level, but it cannot be English) till the end of the 3rd year of your studies. You can pass it earlier - on your 1st or 2nd year if you want. A foreign language is a language that is not your national language, eg. Swedish people cannot pass Swedish, American people cannot pass English etc. Foreign people can choose Polish as their foreign language (we really recommend taking Polish classes!).
· Passing a language exam will give you 2 ECTS.
· Please check if the date of the language exam does not collide with anything else - the exams start on Tuesday, 12 June.
· If you pass the written part, there is going to be an oral part during the same session.
· If you feel you are lacking information on oral exams, please talk to the people conducting written exams. They should inform you about everything at the beginning of the written part exam, eg. when the results are going to be posted, when, how to sign up for the oral part etc.
· You will be asked to write your PESEL on the answer sheet. If you are not Polish, you probably do not have the official Polish PESEL. In this case write your USOS login (the number starting with 007…). If in the meantime you have acquired the official Polish PESEL, but you log in to the USOS with your 007... number, please use the 007… number in the answer sheet. It is needed so that the system could link the result with an appropriate person from USOS.
· If you are not Polish and you don't speak Polish, it is good to inform the people proctoring the exam about it at the beginning of the exam, so that they are aware that they should not speak Polish with you.

Here are sample tests.
